I wanted to write a message to our current hirers, users and potential new visitors to let you know of the latest regulations we have in place at the centre following the change to the guidelines from July 19th.

Throughout the periods of restricted reopening we have always operated strict measures to protect everyone and I am pleased to say that this seems to have worked and we have not been made aware of any Covid cases or outbreaks within the centre. Whilst we now return to a more relaxed operation the most important thing to remember is please DO NOT come to the centre if you are feeling unwell. My experience of this virus is that it makes people ill in many different ways, more than I think are publicised, so it is better to be safe than sorry so please do not take any risk and err on the side of caution.

In order to protect our staff and visitors we have decided not to return to full capacity and are restricting our numbers in the main hall to 75, and 4 in the meeting room. Many class leaders are applying their own limits suitable for their own classes and most operate at around 15-20 guests as a maximum but if you have any concerns then please contact individual class leaders to find out their own regulations.

Whilst masks are no longer compulsory, we would ask visitors to please continue to wear them in communal areas such as the reception and toilets. This is again to protect staff and other users on the site. It is up to the group leaders as to whether masks are required in the hall and meeting room during their hire and they will assess their risk accordingly.

We will continue to provide hand sanitiser and tissues throughout the building and have a track and trace QR code for scanning in reception. Please do use these when you enter the building.

We would also ask everyone to consider others when moving around and would encourage social distancing wherever possible. We will also open doors and windows in between hires for ventilation and will clean any regularly touched surfaces.

If we can continue to operate in this manner which is respectful of all our guests then we hope that we will not again have to reimpose stricter measures.
