Multi-award winning immersive sensory music classes for babies, toddlers, nurseries and pre-schools

Hartbeeps’ immersive music classes offer innovative experiences that are fun for both young children and their parents/carers. We aim to enable grown-ups to see the world through children’s eyes as they play and learn through the medium of musical play – ‘soundplay’. We facilitate multi-sensory exploration and active learning through original musical sessions. We’re driven by imagination and creativity and backed by years of research.

What we do
We deliver immersive musical play sessions to support children’s early years development through active, creative and experiential learning.

How we do it
Driven by genuine passion, unstoppable imaginations, limitless creativity and years of educational research. We continuously craft and share new and experiential learning practices, and through our network of professional franchisees and their session leaders, enhance each stage of a child’s early years development.

Why we do it
We believe curiosity and creativity is the key to long-lasting and effective development for children in their early years. We love enabling children to flourish and seeing grown ups inspired by that journey.

We all want to feel better in ourselves, and Pilates can help us achieve our better selves.

So what is Pilates?

Pilates is a philosophy of well being based upon a holistic system of exercise that enhances self awareness, strength, stamina, and resilience to promote whole body health. Pilates is a way for us to optimise our personal performance.

Some of the key benefits of Pilates you can achieve with my classes:

  • Improve your posture, health, and overall fitness.
  • Become more flexible, and increase your strength and muscle tone.
  • Strengthen and maintain a healthy spine.
  • Reduce everyday pain and fatigue.
  • Develop your core strength.
  • Assist recovery after an injury/surgery.
  • Improve your performance in sports and help prevent injury.
  • Support pre/post natal care.
  • Feel happier, look better and feel better!

About Wendy Jane Pilates

I am a fully qualified comprehensive Pilates matwork and studio equipment teacher.

I truly believe health and wellness start from within. This led me to focus on a more holistic approach within my work, being drawn towards a mind body approach to exercise. This is where my interest in Pilates came in.

For me Pilates is the whole package. Building flexibility, strength and stamina, whilst centring the body and mind through concentration and breath work. I would say this is my form of meditation, and I believe everyone can benefit from Pilates.

Cambridge Jazz Co-op

https://cambridgejazzcoop.org.uk/wp/index.php/faq/
Saturday (monthly and varying) at 11:00am (ending at 1:00pm)
https://cambridgejazzcoop.org.uk/

The Cambridge Jazz Co-op is an informal group of keen, local jazz musicians that meet on Saturday afternoons in Cambridge, England to play under the guidance and tuition of professional/prestigious jazz tutors/performers

Although each Saturday session varies, the visiting tutor will typically supply the Jazz Co-op with a couple of compositions to play through. The compositions themselves can be jazz standards but can also be compositions penned by the tutors themselves. The pieces are then performed by the Jazz Co-op with the group often playing the main theme together, followed by each of the attendees taking a solo over the form supported by the rhythm section.

The composition of the attendees varies from week to week, but usually there about 10-15 players from which a rhythm section and a front line is formed.

There is no pressure on any individual to either play the theme or take a solo – it is up to the confidence of the player concerned. The point about taking a solo is not to impress the rest of the members, but to improve one’s performance and, depending on your level, get more comfortable playing in a group situation.
